• Eastern white pine – Growing at a rate of 24+ inches per year, eastern white pine matures at a height of 50 to 135 feet, depending on the growth conditions. The tree grows in an oval, pyramidal shade and performs well as a windbreaker. Its foliage is made up of long, slender, blue-green needles that can reach a length of 5 inches. 
• American sweetgum – At maturity, the American sweetgum is 60 to 75 feet tall and 40 to 50 feet wide. The tree features star-shaped leaves with 5 lobes that are lustrous medium green and toothed along the margins. American sweetgum provides amazing fall color when its leaves change to vibrant shades of purple, red, orange, and yellow.
